CBDT extends the due date for filing Income Tax Returns and audit reports from 30th September 2019 to 31st October 2019.
The due date on Income tax return and tax audit report for fy 2018-19 and ay 2019-20 extended from 30th September, 2019 to 31st October, 2020 for assessees cover under clause(a) of explanation 2 to sub section (1) of section 139 of income tax act 1961
The Income tax department already issued the circular no. F.N 225/157/2019/ITA.II on dated 27th September, 2019 under section 119 of the Income tax act 1961. The issued circular which issued by Income tax department is below:
